As I postulated in my previous post, Benjamin Creme of Share International has proclaimed the Norwegian spiral to be a ‘Star Sign’ that he predicted would precede the appearance of Maitreya.

Creme has  been heralding the appearance of a man he calls, “the Avatar of the Aquarian Age” since the mid 1970s. Creme, who once belonged to a UFO cult called The Aetherians, is on record as referring to Lucifer as “…the name of a great Angel, not an upstart in heaven who revolted against God and was put down into the nether regions as the Devil. That is a complete misinterpretation. Lucifer means light, and comes from the Latin lux, lucis, meaning light. It is the name of the Angel Who ensouls the human kingdom...”  The preceding quote is taken from Creme’s own FAQs page (click the quote to navigate to that page), where Creme also expresses agreement with tenets of Theosophy, Alice Bailey, and the Lucis Trust (originally called ‘Lucifer’ Trust).

Maitreya is, Creme tells us, the much anticipated answer to all the world’s problems, embodying the Messiah of all religions.

Spiral light show accompanies Obama to Norway

(THE SUN) — A MYSTERIOUS giant spiral of light that dominated the sky over Norway this morning has stunned experts — who believe the space spectacle is an entirely new astral phenomenon.

Thousands of awe-struck Norwegians bombarded the Meteorological Institute to ask what the incredible light — that could be seen in the pre-dawn sky for hundreds of miles — could possibly be.

As of now, this phenomenon has no logical explanation–although news is trickling in that it might be a Russian missile gone awry. Hmm.

Certainly, its coincidental appearance just one day prior to Obama’s arrival in Oslo, Norway to pick up his ‘peace’ prize isn’t missed by the MSM. Today’s Huffington Post makes the connection. We’re wondering if Benjamin Creme will proclaim this as Maitreya’s ‘star sign’.

Also, make note of the DATE when the ‘sign’ appeared. December 8–the day when many Catholics celebrate ‘the Feast of the Immaculate Conception’, the day when Mary was supposedly conceived ‘without sin’ (a doctrine that has no Biblical basis). The ‘Marian’ imagery continues when you compare the spiral image over Norway with the painting to the right. (Click on the image for a larger view). Notice how Crivelli included a curious ‘UFO’ type image that is beaming something into Mary’s head?

With Obama in Oslo and most of the world’s leaders in nearby Copenhagen, such a ‘miraculous’ sign in the sky demands our attention. CERN has restarted, and television shows like ‘Flash Forward’ hint at dimensional portals opening during LHC events. The popular series ‘V’ features a miraculous sky appearing, seen by the entire world. ‘War of the Worlds’ with Tom Cruise presents lightning flashes that beam to the earth with alien pilots riding the light to earth. If nothing else, this is another example of a meme that certainly affects world thought and perception.

Has Obama just been crowned? Perhaps, perhaps not. If you read the text of his acceptance speech, he deftly calls warfare a method of peacemaking:

I face the world as it is, and cannot stand idle in the face of threats to the American people. For make no mistake: Evil does exist in the world. A nonviolent movement could not have halted Hitler’s armies. Negotiations cannot convince al-Qaida’s leaders to lay down their arms. To say that force is sometimes necessary is not a call to cynicism — it is a recognition of history, the imperfections of man and the limits of reason. /SNIP/

The United States of America has helped underwrite global security for more than six decades with the blood of our citizens and the strength of our arms. The service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform has promoted peace and prosperity from Germany to Korea, and enabled democracy to take hold in places like the Balkans. We have borne this burden not because we seek to impose our will. We have done so out of enlightened self-interest — because we seek a better future for our children and grandchildren, and we believe that their lives will be better if other people’s children and grandchildren can live in freedom and prosperity.

This is the speech of a man who believes in a ‘god of forces’ to bring about peace. What an odd coupling for a Nobel prize acceptance speech.

The Lord God Almighty knows, and He stands ready to take His rightful place as true King of the Universe, despite what the enemy may plan. Are you ready?

In addition to the Google series of UFO logos, observers in the northeastern US saw strange lights over the weekend that turned out to be nothing more than an artificially created ‘noctilucent’ cloud. I know that I’m no rocket scientist, but I’m not sure how NASA can really benefit from an experiment that’s supposed to develop dust particle distribution models.

I’ve seen something that must have been a noctilucent cloud (summer 2005), and they are very weird–and very big. Why, if I were wearing a tinfoil hat, I might even say someone in the government wants to create UFO panic.

(CNN) — A series of spooky lights above parts of the northeastern United States Saturday sparked a flurry of phone calls to authorities and television news stations.

NASA said strange lights seen in the Northeast on Saturday were caused by an experimental rocket.

CNN affiliate stations from New Jersey to Massachusetts heard from dozens of callers who reported that the lights appeared as a cone shape shining down from the sky.

However, the lights were the result of an experimental rocket launch by NASA from the agency’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, a spokesman told CNN.

THE RAPTURE ON ROSH HASHANA

There are important parallels between Jewish feasts and the fulfillment of Christ. For example the Passover is now celebrated as the Lord’s Supper. The Sabbath is now celebrated by the Resurrection.Some other parallels are:

Pesach / Passover
Hag HaMatzah / Feast of Unleavened Bread
Bikkurim / First Fruits
Shavout / Feast of Weeks (Pentecost)

Jewish tradition holds that Rosh Hashanah celebrates the anniversary of the creation of the world, a day when “God takes stock of all of His Creation,” which of course includes all of humanity. Translated from the Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means “head of the year” – rosh means head, while hashanah means year. Jews believe that God’s judgment on this day determines the course of the coming year.

Rosh Hashanah is a Jewish festival in which most work ceases, just as on the weekly Sabbath. It’s celebrated both in joy and solemnity. During the daily prayer service a ram’s horn, or in the Hebrew, shofar, is sounded:

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.” (Leviticus 23:23-25)

God does not do things in vain, or without purpose. The Old Testament Holy Days were not just some sort of Divine make-work project to keep the Israelites busy while they were out wandering in the desert. All of the Old Testament Holy Days (Passover, Days of Unleavened Bread, The Feast of Weeks, The Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement, The Festival of Tabernacles and the Last Day) were, and continue to be, living symbols of the stages of God’s Plan of Salvation for all humanity. Those events are now in progress, and true Christians are the manifestation of it.

In the Christian world, Rosh Hashanah is known as The Feast of Trumpets. Many Christians observe this festival for its Christian prophetic application – the Rapture of the Church. Read the rest of this entry →

‘Demons’ Greb and Blurk in Somehow Satan Got Behind Me

“HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD?” That’s the question asked by one of four demons in one of my favorite Millennium episodes called Somehow Satan Got Behind Me. The demons, while enjoying coffee and pastries at The Donut Hole, had been discussing sightings of a mysterious man who appeared to see through their human disguises and into their ‘true essence’.

Though the episode is primarily played for laughs, there are many uncomfortable truths tucked between the lines. Human fears, boredom, conformity and peer pressures, loneliness, desire for power, and perceived mundane nature of daily life are all examined and used by these demons to ‘gut their souls’.
