According to Creme, Maitreya is not the answer to all the world's problems, we are...human beings are. It is we, according to Creme, who make the wars, foster fear and hatred of our fellow humans, and pollute the Earth. Maitreya, he says, will inspire us to act according to the dictates of Christianity...love thy neighbor as thyself...treat others as you would be treated...act out the truth that "the Kingdom of God is within you". Again, with respect, Creme does not call Maitreya the "Messiah of all religions". Jesus was Messiah the Jews, but they did not recognize Him. Maitreya is, according to Creme, the Teacher awaited by all religions although they each call Him by different names, but He is not a religious teacher at all. He comes, Creme says, as a spiritual Teacher for all humanity, religious or not. He teaches that all men and women are sons and daughters of the one God and that that is not just a religious truth...it is a great spiritual truth. Creme says that Jesus is also already returned as leader of the Christian groups and that Jesus has been working side by side with Maitreya for many years. I do hope that fear and hatred do not ruin anyone's search for the truth of this most interesting story.
