….on October 19, 1987, a day remembered as Black Monday, the Dow Jones dropped 22.61%. Black Monday is considered a ‘Black Swan’ event.
Curiously, the television show Flash Forward used the same language, referring to the worldwide 2 minute and 17 second loss of consciousness as a Black Swan event in last week’s show. A Black Swan event is one that is completely unexpected.
So, what if you expect the unexpected?
