WE SHOULDN’T ‘bee’ surprised that Sam is so adamant about this issue. Who’s closer to the flowers than Sam?
Concerned about the missing bees, Sam T. Dachshund spent most of Thursday pressing his agenda with the heads of state during the L’Aquila, Italy G8 Summit.
Ignoring cries of ‘Isn’t he cute?’ and ‘Isn’t that a bee-dog?’, Sam valiantly urged world leaders such as Sarkozy of France (to Sam’s left), Japan’s PM Taro Aso, and Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev to consider his Global Rights for Bees policy.
There’s no word yet on whether or not any of the attendees has signed on, but Sam assures us that he will not rest until every bee is free to fly without fear of GMO foods or pesky Pooh bears.
