Our prayers for all of you as our country pauses to remember how we all got here. We should show respect and honor to those brave men and women who have bled and died, sweated and suffered, and left behind comforts and family to keep us safe. Our country is changing, and it is most likely not for the better. However, we need to keep our faith and our trust in Christ Jesus. The stars and stripes represent our fellowship as a nation, but the stripes on Christ’s back represent the ultimate act of sacrifice, for God incarnate laid down His life so that you and I could be truly free.
